Brevard County, Fla. (September 10, 2015) – Playalinda Brewing Company announced plans to expand craft brewing operations and introduce distilled spirits production in an existing 16,000 SF facility on U.S. 1 in Titusville. The expanded operations known as The Brix Project, once complete, will oversee production of upwards of 30,000 barrels annually making it the second largest craft brewery in a 120 mile radius.

Brevard County, Fla. (September 3, 2015) – Erchonia Corporation, a medical laser device manufacturing company, will relocate its operations to Melbourne, Florida and create 35 new jobs. The company, currently based out of McKinney, Texas, plans to build a 20,000 square foot facility in the North Drive Industrial area of Melbourne allowing for better access to its core client base.

Brevard County, Fla (August 6, 2015) – Technology Docking, a strategic alliance between NASA and the EDC is a regional initiative and part of NASA’s national pilot program for Regional Economic Development (RED). The partnership provides small and medium-sized manufacturers and technology based companies, access to NASA’s resources both at the Kennedy Space Center and across the nation. On Wednesday, at the Economic Development Commission of Florida’s Space Coast Board Meeting, the following nine companies were announced to participate in the first annual Technology Docking Roadshow.
