Paragon Plastics Expands in Titusville

The custom plastic thermoforming manufacturer moves to Spaceport Commerce Park

Brevard County, Fla. (August 4, 2015) – Paragon Plastics, the leader in custom plastic thermoforming, is moving their headquarters from Cocoa to Titusville on a six acre parcel in the Spaceport Commerce Park.

The company is currently operating under 35,000 sq ft of manufacturing and warehouse space in Cocoa and leases an additional 3,000 sq ft of space to help with overflow of their existing work. Within the year, Paragon Plastics will invest three million in the construction of a new building, purchase $300,000 in new equipment and increase their employment by 30%. “We are very excited about this opportunity to grow in Brevard County. I would like to thank the EDC, North Brevard Economic Development Zone (NBEDZ), City of Titusville and Brevard County all of whom helped to make this expansion possible for us.” Stated David Trout, president and chief executive officer of Paragon Plastics.

Paragon Plastics’ announcement to expand at the Spaceport Commerce Park is the second behind Embraer’s adding fuel to an economy thirsting to mature. “The addition of Paragon Plastics at the Spaceport Commerce Park will add to the appeal and attraction to do business in Titusville.” Commented City of Titusville Mayor, James H. Tulley, Jr.

“Helping companies like Paragon Plastics identify the opportunity in Titusville and witness their part to reclaim their status as a strong economic driver in Brevard County, is an important component of the overall economic development within our community.” Said Lynda Weatherman, President and CEO of the Economic Development Commission of Florida’s Space Coast
