Criteria for Eligibility to Participate:

  1. A for profit, legal entity with an Employer Identification Number (EIN) or Tax ID number (TIN).
  2. Be located in Brevard County.
  3. Company must be a small to mid-sized business with a maximum of 499 employees.
  4. Must have a Commercial And Government Entity (CAGE) Code.
  5. Company must be a qualified target industry sector business as defined by F.S. 288.106 including the following industries as identified by NAICS code prefix:
    • NAICS 31-33 – Manufacturing
    • NAICS 52 – Finance and Insurance Services
    • NAICS 42 – Wholesale Trade
    • NAICS 51 – Information Industries
    • NAICS 54 – Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services
    • NAICS 55 – Management Services
    • NAICS 56 – Administrative and Support Services
  6. Company must agree to the terms and conditions as defined herein and sign a user license agreement.

Application Process:

  1. Complete application.
  2. Participate in a scheduled training seminar or webinar within 30 days of approval.

Evaluation/Approval Process:

  1. Eligible applicants will be approved by EDC staff on a first come, first served basis based on availability.
  2. Preference will be given to investor companies in the EDC; companies which have been in business for over 24 months; companies with at least two (2) employees in Brevard County; and companies who have had previous experience in government contracting.
  3. Approved applicants must sign a user license agreement and participate in a scheduled training event within 30 days of application approval.
  4. A username and log in will be provided at time of training.

Terms & Conditions of Use:

  1. User Agreement: User must sign a user agreement.
  2. Reporting: Users will be required to file semi-annual reports with the EDC on January 10 and July 10, respectively. The reports will be administered in the form of an email survey on the first of January and July. Reported information will include, but is not limited to, system usage and contract procurement information.
  3. Noncompliance: The EDC reserves the right to reclaim a user license from any user. Users are required to file semi-annual reports and actively use the system. The EDC will evaluate quarterly aggregate system usage analytic reports to ensure the system is being used.
  4. License revocation: If demand for user licenses exceeds availability of user licenses, the EDC reserves the right to reclaim a user license from any user falling within the bottom 25% of usage in the system. This license would be re-assigned to a new eligible user.
